Since 2009 I have worked within the Records and Information Management sector both as a Records Manager and as an Advisor. This was not my first career – I initially worked as an Executive Assistant and then found this wonderful thing called Records and Information Management.
My Specialty is
Training staff in how to manage the information they work with
Facilitating workshops to help staff better understand the principles of Records and Information Management
Giving advice in setting up a successful records management programme
Training staff on a one-to-one basis
Helping organisations with foundational requirements for their records programme
Public Speaking
I have presented at Conferences in Australisia for INFORUM, ARANZ and RIMPA, presented Webinars and Workshops and written helpful resources such as:
Building a Successful Records Management Programme Records Management Essentials
Both of these resources are also available as workshops.
Publications
You will see in the Store that I have written publications to help Records and Information Management staff best manage their records. Publications include, as mentioned above, Building a Successful Records Management Programme which is a guide to help Records Managers create and manage a successful programme and Records Management Essentials which is a workbook for new Records and Information Management Professionals. I have also written articles which have been printed in the IQ Magazine and in its UK sister publication The Bulletin.
